Why Use Meyer Lemon Olive Oil in a Cocktail?

I am intrigued by new ideas regarding cocktails and mixology. I’ve been experimenting with olive oil from We Olive and Wine Bar, and I’m having a great time adding these quality products to my cocktails. I love the Meyer lemon olive oil drizzled over cucumbers. One of my favorite summer snacks, sparked an idea for a cocktail!

This post is sponsored by We Olive and Wine Bar in Salt Lake City, Utah. I received the delicious products to review, However, all thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.

Cucumber vodka is the perfect liquor to highlight the flavor of the Meyer lemon. The characters in this drink play off of each other leaving a crisp, light taste. The citrus enhances the taste and feel of the olive oil. Muddling some cucumber in the shaker adds to the layers of flavor.

Shake That Olive Oil Cocktail!

The key to the perfect cocktail that has olive oil as an ingredient is to shake, shake, shake that shaker! It takes 30-40 seconds of vigorous shaking to get it blend perfectly. I like to add the egg white so that it has a layer of tasty fluff on top.

What Other Olive Oil Would Be Amazing in a Cocktail?
